Experimental Garden.

That's what I like to call it...our Experimental Garden. This our first year growing a garden together. My sweet husband dug up a garden spot for us this year. Thing that we decided to plant were radishes, carrots, peas, onions, two tomato plants, a cherry tomato plant, a cucumber plant, a bell pepper plant, and two zucchini plants. Not much, but enough to see if we could make it work. First of all, I don't know what happened to our radishes. The root that you eat never did get plump it is still thin, thinner than the width of a pencil. We have no idea what happened. Our carrots are still striving. Our peas looked great one day and the next thing we know, brown spots were all over the plants and pea pods. So sad. :( Our onions are doing great. We've actually got to harvest some of those. We did get tomatoes no bigger than the size of a golf ball and cherry tomatoes the size of marbles. No luck with the cucumbers or bell peppers. The plants look so sad. C wanted to pull them out, but I told them to leave them in the ground. Who knows maybe with a little faith they will give. We do have zucchinis. You can't kill those plants no matter how hard you try.

I don't know if we are cut out to be gardeners. We want to blame it on the rainy month of June. We need help. So if there are any good gardening books or web sites out there let us know. Sorry no pics of our sad garden, just take a our word for it.
